Verb conjugation of –IR verbs is similar to –AR, -ER verb conjugation, and is done in two stages: first, we remove the verb ending (-IR) and are left with the stem, ESCRIB. Second, we add the matching suffix -o, -es, -e, -imos, -ís, -en.

-IR verb conjugations are similar to –ER verb conjugations, except in first-person plural (we) and second-person plural familiar (you-all, vosotros, which is not in use in Latin America).
